A Candidate Forum for the Justice of the Peace Candidates will be held May 15th from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Carson Nugget, Sierra Room at 507 N. Carson Street. Please join us to learn about the Candidates: Melanie Bruketta, Tyson League and Daniel Spence; and how they plan to serve Carson City! Dr. Kyle Dalpe, President of Western Nevada College will be the moderator. There is no cost for this event and it is open to the public.

Miller Counseling is partnering with Douglas Center for Hope and Healing to offer grief support groups to Carson City and the surrounding rural communities Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.

The Miller Counseling and Wellness Center is located at 104 W. Telegraph St. in Carson City.

The Center for Hope and Healing has been providing grief support to Douglas County for the last 10 years. The goal of building this partnership is to make the free support groups available and easier to access to more members of the Northern Nevada community.
