This garage sale is hosted by Silver State Gymnastics Booster Club and will be using the profits from this sale to help our gymnasts travel this upcoming competition season! 7:00am-3:00pm

Girls on the Run Sierras brings character building summer camp to Carson City, registration open

Girls on the Run Sierras is a social emotional learning program that was established in the area in 2007. This year, GOTR is bringing a week-long, half-day summer camp to Carson City for the first time this August. The camp will be from August 7-11 at the Carson City Community Center and registration for Camp GOTR is open.

The Mile High Jazz Band Association's annual membership meeting and end-of-the-fiscal-year party will be on Sunday, June 25, at 6 p.m., at the Carson City Historical Society’s Carriage House, behind the Foreman-Roberts House Museum, 1207 N. Carson Street.

Good afternoon, Carson City! Meet Gizmo: this very handsome kitty is three years old. Cat staff at the shelter is obsessed with his beautiful tuxedo fur, and it’s great that he loves to be brushed too. He is built like a Saint Bernard version of a cat with big paws and legs. Shelter staff loves cuddling with him and helping him play with scratching posts.

Carson City Sheriff's Office arrests: Man booked for suspicion of second DUI this month

A 37-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday for suspicion of DUI second, driving on a revoked license and probation violation, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
