Carson City Sheriff: marijuana-related shooting involving multiple minors brings new arrests
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 01/31/2020 - 8:06pmOn January 25th, shortly before 8 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center regarding two males who had arrived with reported gunshot wounds. One victim was treated for minor head injuries, while the second victim was transported to Renown Medical Center by Careflight for treatment. Both have since been released from the hospital.

Accident reported near Musser and Curry

Motorists should seek alternate routes as first responders and law enforcement assess the scene.

Events include the monthly downtown Carson City wine walk, plus karaoke at Bella Vita Bistro and Y-NOT Saloon. The Forest Service begins its first “Ski With a Ranger” at Lake Tahoe’s Heavenly Mountain Resort on Friday. Combined with championship football festivities on Sunday, the Silver State is in store for a wild, good time.
