Author of 'Lost Carson City' featured at Nevada State Archives brown bag luncheon Feb. 12

NCAA Division I Signing Ceremony held at Carson High for Beglin, Pradere

Jill Beglin signed with St. John's University for golf and Abby Pradere signed with the University of San Francisco for track.
Congratulations to Mark Twain choir, teacher for performances at State of the State Address

Ms. Bourne sang the National Anthem and the student choir sang two songs for Governor Sisolak’s State of the State Address last week at the Nevada State Legislature.

RoseBuds, Kiwanis Club of Carson Valley host Valentine Dance

The dance is scheduled for Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the CVIC Hall, 1604 Esmeralda Avenue in Minden.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Music playing from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
Tickets are $10 at the door. Ages 10 and under are free.
There will be a dessert bar, as well as a no-host bar. There will also be a raffle.

Man arrested after car chase, attempting to run over Carson City Sheriff's deputy

Misdemeanor charges included resisting a public officer, reckless driving, and failure to use due care.
Deadline for Friends of the Carson City Library survey is Feb. 15

The organization, which provides funding to the Carson City Library, is asking the community to take a survey.
