Tuesday Morning Walk Carson City Freeway Multi-Use Path Sponsored by Muscle Powered

All walks are 1 to 2 miles with duration of 1 hour with usually negligible elevation gain, and frequently on paved or smooth paths. Water and closed-toe shoes required. If it rains or snows, meet at the Multi-Purpose Athletic Center (MAC) at 1860 Russell Way. Contact Alyce Cloutier at klute89701@att.net.
Muscle Powered Weekly Bike Ride

Ride will normally consist of two loops which are 10-15 miles long each. The ride pace will vary depending on rider level, but will usually be about a 12-16 mph pace. This is a "no drop" ride so no one is left behind. All riders must have a bicycle in safe working condition, a helmet, and closed toed shoes.

Take advantage of the warmer weather during a Winter Hike along Carson Valley’s Pinion Trail with Muscle Powered. Song and dance kids will want to audition for the upcoming performance of ‘Willy Wonka, Jr.’ If you’re a fan of song, but possibly too old to join the Youth Theater Carson City cast, check out the monthly jam in Silver City at their historic School House. All instruments are welcome, in addition to vocalists and those who just want to listen.
Governor Sandoval announces departure of Nevada Taxation Director Deonne Contine

Contine has served as Director since November 2014 and will pursue a professional opportunity in the private sector. A successor will be announced in the near future.
Valentine's Birdhouses

Your birdhouse will be the perfect addition to your yard or as a gift for your Valentine! The event is available to children 8-13 years old and they must be accompanied by an adult.
