UPDATE: A Carson City man involved in a road rage incident in October was granted a suspended sentence after he admitted to carrying a concealed weapon.

Successful Pet Food Drive at Michael Hohl’s

During October, Michael Hohl Motor Company held a pet food drive to fill a pickup for the national nonprofit Pets of the Homeless. This year the public, employees and customers filled the new Chevy pickup on the showroom floor with over 2,460 pounds of pet food.

Mind of daVinci sculpture goes up at Carson City Community Center

Crews install the Inside the Mind of daVinci sculpture at the Community Center in Carson City, Nev., on Monday. The 10-by-23-foot cement sculpture, created by local artist Mischell Riley, is the first piece of public art purchased by Carson City Culture and Tourism Authority and will be gifted to the city.

Carson City arrests: Woman jailed for meth, fraudulent use of EBT card

A 32-year-old woman was arrested Sunday for felony suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit card, possession of a controlled substance and other charges, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
