Carson City arrests: Woman accused of pepper spraying Walmart greeter, manager and patrons

A 43-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday for allegedly stealing items from Walmart and then using pepper spray on a store greeter, the store manager and two customers, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

The Salvation Army is collecting school supplies and backpacks for at-risk children through August 14. Children from Carson City, Douglas County and the surrounding communities will receive school supplies and backpacks as needed.
