From the Ground Up: Carson City Courthouse exhibition begins Friday with reception, talk

CCAI will host a reception for the artist on Friday, February 3, 5-7pm; Martin will give a talk about his work at 5:30pm. The exhibit will be in the gallery from February 3 – May 24, 2017.

Grab the kids and head to the First Presbyterian Church for a free concert. Get in a bike ride before the wet weather returns: Muscle Powered leaves from Fremont Elementary School at 9 a.m. and also sponsors weekly hikes throughout town. If you’re interested in joining them, their potluck membership meeting this afternoon at the Brewery Arts Center is the perfect time to fill out a membership card.

Noninjury accident at North Carson and Silver Oak

Motorists in the area are advised to take an alternate route to avoid traffic back-up.

Carson City hosts international librarians visiting Nevada State Library and Archives
