Nevada among 8 states picked for behavioral health service demonstration program

Carson City emergency crews respond to injury accident on Spooner, Highway 50

Sheila Hillebrand's art gallery and decor business on C Street in Virginia City ran out of room pretty quickly, she said.
"I had everything stacked up in the hallway where they could look through it," she said. "But most people don't look through it."
Most of the prints she carried were stacked on the floor because there wasn't the wall space to display them all.
Carson City Fire Department investigate gas leak on Research Way

The call came into dispatch just after 1 p.m. with reports of a heavy natural gas odor coming from the building, according to dispatch. The building was evacuated and an investigation was underway.

Carson City weather: Sierra storm causes travel delays, up to 4 inches of valley snow possible

A winter storm is moving into the region, bringing snow and slow going travel through the Sierra, with snow spillover expected later today around Carson City with 1 to 4 inches of snow possible, according to the National Weather Service.
Carson City sheriff’s arrests: Deputies jail man for assaulting officer, three for domestic battery
