Resolutions are made, parties are planned, and the kids are smack dab in the middle of their winter break. The chilly weather makes it a perfect time to bake cookies, catch up on the Carson City Library’s Winter Read-a-thon, or hit the shops with those holiday gift cards.

71st Wedding anniversary for Gardnerville couple

The family of Dave and Kay Lacey wish to express their love, and extend heartfelt congratulations, on their 71st wedding anniversary.

This milestone event has influenced four generations of family, as well as many friends.

They’ve raised 3 children, have 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren, (almost 9). As a couple they’ve served their community, church and country through their faith, integrity, compassion, kindness and hard work. They represent a legacy of love which binds our family together.
