Nevada Office Of Consumer Health Assistance Gets New Director

CARSON CITY –The state office created to help guide Nevadans through the complex maze of health care billing and access to care has a new director starting tomorrow.
Marilyn Wills has been named director of the Office of Consumer Health Assistance by Mike Willden, director of the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

Carson City deputies arrest two for sexual assault of girls, 11, 12

Carson City Deputies arrested one man and another male they think might be a juvenile for
allegedly taking two girls, 11 and 12 years old, from MIlls Park and sexually assaulting near the Carson River Tuesday night.

Enrique Lopez-Cervantes, 24, and another male whose identification showed he is 17, were arrested Wednesday night after detectives found them at Mills Park.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife (www.ndow.org) reports: The road is open, but there is still a LOT of snow around the lake. The lake is about 80% ice covered with some fishable water. Unfortunately, there is enough snow on the ice, you can't tell what is safe and what isn't. With this week's warm temps and some wind, next weekend may be a different story.
