NV Energy invites community to Carson City truck barn grand opening Saturday
NV Energy invites the community to a grand opening celebration this Saturday to mark the opening of the new NV Energy Carson City truck barn located on East Long Street.
The free, family-friendly event includes bucket truck rides, pictures with Santa, children’s holiday activities and light refreshments. Attendees are encouraged bring gently-used children’s books, new 2017 day planners and journals to the event, which will be donated to Advocates to End Domestic Violence.
The Carson City Truck Barn is an eight-bay, 10,716 sq. ft. vehicle maintenance facility, located on 12-acres.
NV Energy President and CEO, Paul Caudill will be at the event on Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the facility, located at 875 E. Long St.
The opening ceremony and ribbon cutting is at: 10 a.m. Tours and family-friendly activities: 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
