Carson City emergency crews respond to crash at South Carson Street and Old Clear Creek

UPDATE 125PM: The following is a news release from Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received information of an armed robbery at the Extra Mile, Chevron gas station on North Carson Street. At arrival, deputies learned the robbery was carried out by two males, both armed with handguns. Both cash and store products were taken. No injuries were reported.

Carson City area casinos had a 1.88 percent increase in January gaming revenue, while statewide, Nevada casinos were up 41.58 percent over January 2021 figures, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
