January casino revenue up 41 percent statewide, Carson City nearly 2 percent
Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and all other areas of Douglas County with the exception of Stateline at Lake Tahoe report gaming generated revenue of $9,964,004 for the month, up nearly two percent compared to January 2021.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,078,761,266 for the month of January 2022, up 41.58 percent compared to January 2021.
Casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe saw a gaming revenue decrease of 4.39 percent, while north shore Lake Tahoe reports an increase of 16.93 percent.
Casinos in Reno were up 8.06 percent, while casinos in Sparks were up 3.07 percent.
The Las Vegas Strip had the highest "gaming win" increase, up 76.41 percent, while Clark County increased by 50.43 percent.
