Carson City man jailed for suspicion of meth trafficking and possession

A Carson City man was arrested Saturday night for felony suspicion of trafficking and possession of methamphetamine, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Deputies met with a woman who stated she was in an argument with her boyfriend, that she didn’t want him drinking around her and that it was never physical.

Dispatch informed deputies the suspect was on parole and probation. He provided a breath sample with a result of .124. Deputies conducted a search of the man’s room in accordance with the search cause for probation, and located a small plastic bag with 7 grams of methamphetamine.
