Carson Tahoe Health celebrates WNC nurse education, career development at pinning ceremony
Understanding the shortage of healthcare professionals across the United States, Carson Tahoe Health is excited to announce that nearly half of the 2016 Western Nevada College nursing graduates will be coming to work for CTH.
With a total of 20 WNC nursing graduates filling positions at Carson Tahoe, the health system’s Chief Nursing Officer, Anna Anders, had the honor of serving as an official speaker during the WNC pinning ceremony on Friday, May 20, 2016.
“Carson Tahoe Health is dedicated to coaching, mentoring, and training the next generation of nurses to support the needs of our community in the years to come,” said Anders. “Through our forward-thinking clinical nurse apprenticeship program, we welcome nursing students into our nurturing, patient-centered environment where they can continue to learn, grow, and thrive. We are grateful for the strong partnership we have with Western Nevada College, and I feel honored to be a part of the annual pinning ceremony.”
