A 60-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Tuesday morning in the 1600 block of Airport Road for misdemeanor suspicion of disturbing the peace.

Carson City Fire Department, sheriff's deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol were called late Monday afternoon to a motor vehicle crash in the area of Highway 50 and Centennial Park Drive.

She assumed leadership of the publication after the March 6 retirement of publisher Janet Geary, who ran the magazine for the past 12 years. CARSON CITY — With well over half of a million rides provided each year by Nevada’s rural transit operators, the Nevada Department of Transportation is inviting public input on an update to its State Management Plan which defines how federal transit funding is administered. This funding represents the majority of the budget transit operators use to provide much-needed transit services to rural areas of the state.
