Bluegrass band Grassland Road plays Saturday, Jan. 24
The Bluegrass and Strings Series continues with Grassland Road on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 7pm in the Brewery Arts Center's MHJ Black Box Theater.
Bluegrass lovers will recognize most of the players in this brand new local band—Charlie Edsall on guitar, Mike Madan on mandolin, Glenn Buschine on bass and Hal Horn on banjo. Seasoned players with a brand new sound!
Bluegrass and Strings series concerts are held on the fourth Saturday of each month with presenter Cindy Gray of the Mountain Music Parlor in Reno. A long time local bluegrass and old time music promoter, Cindy Gray has produced festivals in Virginia City, Genoa and Reno. With this series, she will bring a range of great local bluegrass bands to audiences in Carson City. Food at Foodies Bystro from 5pm to 8pm. If it's warm, eat outside on the sidewalk or bring it in. Beer and Wine available at Foodies Bystro till 8pm. Doors open at 6:30. Concerts from 7pm to 9pm or so.
