March 2, 2019 - 9:00am This intensive eight hour seminar covers all aspects of the screenwriter’s craft. Beginners will learn the tools needed to write their first screenplay. Advanced writers will increase their skills and gain valuable insights into the writing process.
Sean Mick studied filmmaking, history, and analysis at Sonoma State University in Northern California, then continued his training through seminars with some of the best screenwriting “gurus” in Hollywood, including Robert McKee.

A murder investigation involving slayings in Reno and Gardnerville in which a 19-year-old man was arrested Saturday in Carson City in connection to the killings has caught the attention of U.S. President Donald Trump who turned to Twitter on Monday to push for a wall he wants built along the United States and Mexico border.
Cooper's Hawk flies under Red Tail radar in West Carson City

A greater variety of birds of prey can be seen this time of year in the Carson City area, including the Cooper's Hawk, a diminutive cousin to the larger Red Tail Hawk.

A 33 year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1500 block of Firebox Road for misdemeanor second-offense domestic battery, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said.
