Summer paving, construction and maintenance work continues around Carson City for the week of July 11-17, 2022. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— 2nd Street between Division Street and Thompson Street will be closed, Saturday, 5:30pm to 10:00pm for a special event.
— 5th Street between Saliman Road and Warm Springs Road will be closed to thru-traffic, Monday through Wednesday, 7:00am to 6:00pm for utility installation.
— Minnesota Street between King Street and 3rd Street will be closed, Saturday, 5:30pm to 10:00pm for a special event.
— Mountain Street between Long Street and Fleischmann Way will be closed, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Park Street between John Street and Long Street will be closed, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Russett Way between Winnie Lane and Jeanell Drive will be closed, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm for utility work.
Sewer and Water Line Replacement Closures (7:00am to 5:30pm):
— Robinson Street between Elizabeth Street and Division Street will be closed Monday, 7:00am to 12:00pm.
— Robinson Street between Mountain Street and Division Street will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:00am to 12:00pm.
— Robinson Street between Mountain Street and Curry Street will be closed Friday.
— Robinson Street at Division Street will be closed Monday through Wednesday, 12:00pm to 5:30pm
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Betts Street between Curry Street and Boyle Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Carson River Road between 5th Street and Camballeria Drive will have shoulder work, Monday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconfiguration.
— Curry Street between 5th Street and Musser Street will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Curry Street between 10th Street and Lake Glen Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for pavement preservation. There will also be intermittent lane closures on nearby Lake Glen Drive.
Curry Street between Koontz Lane and 10th Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for pavement preservation.
— 5th Street between Regent Court and Fairview Drive will have shoulder work, Monday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for road reconfiguration.
— 5th Street at Carson River Road will be flagger controlled, Tuesday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconfiguration.
— Long Street between Roop Street and Rand Avenue will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Mountain Street between Marlette Drive and Tahoe Drive will have shoulder work, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 2:00pm for utility work.
— Ormsby Boulevard between Newman Place and Pardini Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for utility work.
— Rand Avenue between William Street and Camille Drive will have narrowed lanes, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm for roadway reconstruction.
— Saliman Road between Koontz Lane to Colorado Street will have intermittent reduced lanes with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for utility work. There will also be shoulder closures along Saliman Road.
— Silver Sage Drive between Sunchase Court and Colorado Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for pavement preservation. There will also be intermittent lane closures on nearby Sonoma Street, Chateau Drive and Colorado Street.
— Silver Sage Drive between Koontz Lane and Colorado Street will be reduced to one lane with flaggers, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm for pavement preservation.
