The Capital City Brewfest was quite the refreshing venue on Saturday in downtown Carson City.
Nearly two dozen breweries lined the newly redesigned Curry Street, which helped hundreds of attendees cool down from the summer heat.
Along with a select choice of chilled beers, several food trucks including Rotary International and King of Kings served up grilled hot dogs and burritos loaded with all the fixings.
Live music from indie pop-rock band The Belle Sounds in the McFadden Plaza kept the Brewfest lively all night long.
The Brewfest runs until 8 p.m. Tickets cost $35 at the door and are available from any Rotary member and at www.capitalcitybrewfest.com. Designated driver tickets are available at the gate for just $5.00.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carson City and The Fox Brewpub, all proceeds benefit Rotary’s youth leadership and scholarship programs.
