The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a grand larceny that occurred at Walmart, located at 1511 Grant Ave., Gardnerville, Nevada.
On Dec. 19, 2025, two unidentified adult females filled two shopping carts with products totaling $1,212.95.
On December 21, 2025, one of the females, wearing a pink shirt and red zip-up jacket, returned to the same Walmart location with an unidentified adult male.
The pair attempted to steal a shopping cart filled with merchandise. Due to the doors not opening, the suspects abandoned the cart and left the store without the merchandise.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved.
