Carson City Fire Department, the Nevada Highway Patrol and sheriff’s deputies were called to a traffic accident Thursday afternoon in the southbound lane of Highway 395 near the junction of Highway 50 Spooner.
The call came into dispatch at around 2:20 p.m. and was said to involve multiple vehicles. One person reportedly suffered injuries.
There is also a significant oil leak coming from one of the vehicles involved, according to a first responder arriving on scene.
Traffic is being diverted around the accident. Motorists can expect delays.
