Carson City fire and ambulance were called to a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Carson Street and College Parkway.
The crash was reported at around 2:40 p.m. Both vehicles had significant damage. Traffic was being re-redirected around the crash site. Airbags deployed in one of the vehicles, according to fire personnel on scene. One person was taken to the hospital, said Carson City Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Scott McDaniel.
Speed and motorists not paying attention at the intersection may have been factors in the crash, which remains under investigation, said McDaniel.
