Meet Goldie, a stunning golden tabby who’s been patiently waiting for her forever family for an incredible 1023 days. Her journey has been long, but her heart is as warm as ever, and she’s ready for her second chance to share it with someone special.
Goldie came to Catmandu began after the passing of her previous owner. Now, this sweet, affectionate and healthy 10-year-old lady is looking for her forever home where she can settle in and share her loving nature.
She is as beautiful as she is gentle, and more than ready to charm someone special with her sweet personality.
Goldie is eligible for our Senior-to-Senior foster program which provides a home for our senior cat and a loving companionship for qualifying seniors. It’s a win/win for both the cat and the senior. If the senior goes into assisted living the cat can return to Catmandu.
Additionally, vet care is provided at a reduced cost. To qualify applicants must be local and 55 or older.
Goldie is a loving girl who warms up to people once she feels comfortable. She thrives on affection and will show her sweet side to those who take the time to earn her trust.
While she’s not a fan of being brushed, she rocks an adorable Lion Cut.
Goldie had to undergo a significant dental procedure over a year ago due to a lack of dental care in her previous home, resulting in the removal of most of her teeth. Despite this, she has no trouble enjoying both wet and dry food.
Goldie would do best in a quiet home without young children or high-energy pets. She gets along well with other calm cats and could thrive as the sole pet.
She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is an indoor-only cat and would love a home where she can feel safe and adored.
If you’re ready to give Goldie the love and home she’s been waiting for, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at CatmanduCC.org/adoptions. Potential adopters are welcome to visit Catmandu at 1829 Brown Street on Friday through Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.
Please plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so you have plenty of time to meet Goldie and the other wonderful cats awaiting their forever homes.
