Showers this Christmas Eve morning in the capital city brought out a rainbow perched from C-Hill. The moment, shared with the decorative freeway art depicting cowboys and horses, was captured on the I-580 overpass by John Haggard from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.

The incoming winter storm will bring periods of gusty winds, lower elevation rain, and heavy mountain snow through this Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Reno.
