A 25-year-old Carson City man faces charges of attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon and domestic battery after a stabbing that happened shortly after midnight in which the suspect’s father was seriously injured.
Christopher Markley turned himself into Carson City Sheriff’s Office investigators Thursday morning.
The stabbing occurred in the 2000 block of College Parkway after a domestic dispute between the 48-year-old victim and Markley.
The suspect’s father remains in the hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed multiple times, said Carson City Sheriff’s Office Capt. Brian Humphrey. He was flown by CareFlight to Renown Medical Center in Reno.
