The Shoe Tree Brewing Company helped cool the summer heat during its Second Anniversary Party on Saturday at 1496 Old Hot Springs Road in Carson City.

From 12 to 10 p.m., on Saturday, several different traditional and experimental brews were available for interested participants. Live performances — which included live music by Heat Creatures — will also be available during the event.
