By CCSO Sgt. Nate Brehm — The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce its second annual K-9s and Carts golf tournament and fundraiser.

This event will raise vital funds to support the department’s K-9 unit, which plays a crucial role in public safety, assisting with suspect apprehension, narcotics detection, and tracking search operations. It will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Silver Oak Golf Course.

The tournament will kick off with a shotgun start at 8 a.m., and participants will enjoy a day of golf on Silver Oak’s scenic course followed by a luncheon, and 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will go toward the Sheriff’s K-9 team.

The K-9 unit is an invaluable asset to the community, and this event allows us to raise the necessary funds to keep the K-9 team healthy, and adequately equipped. We invite the community to join us for a fun summer day of golf in support of our four-legged deputies.
