The service will take place at the 911 memorial beginning at 6 p.m. The event is hosted by Carson City Christian Ministerial Fellowship. Guest speakers are Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell, Sheriff Ken Furlong, Carson City Fire Chief Sean Slamon and pastors from local ministry.

Temperatures are expected to actually lower toward the end of the week. Events around town Tuesday include a Muscle Powered walk, hike and bike ride, yoga, exercises for the mind and body hosted by the Carson City Emblem Club, political gatherings, art activities and more.

Area Hindus strongly condemn California synagogue shooting

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada on Saturday, said: "We are deeply saddened by this horrific tragedy. Our hearts go out to the victims and their loved ones and the entire Jewish community. Targeting of innocent people at the sacred worship place is abhorrent.
Gilson Going Solo at PLNU Chamber Orchestra Concerto Concert

Such is not a new experience for 2018 Sierra Lutheran High School alumna Aleyna Gilson, who will find the spotlight on her again at the end of this month when she performs Mendelssohn’s concerto in E minor at the Orchestra Concerto Concert at Point Loma Nazarene University, in San Diego.

Immediately, other Victoria houses of worship offered Victoria Moslems to use their respective place of prayer until the rebuilding of the mosque.
Presently, in Victoria, the B'Nai Israel temple is being shared. A web site established by the Victoria Jewish community has collected over one-million dollars for the construction of a rebuilt mosque which has an estimated cost of nine-hundred thousand.
