Susan Haas Named director, CEO of Retired Senior Volunteer Program

The Nevada Rural Counties Retired Senior Volunteer Program Board of Directors has named Susan Haas as Executive Director and chief executive officer. Haas began work with the RSVP, based in Carson City, in 2007 as program director after serving for 8 years as Deputy Chief of Staff for Lt. Governor Lorraine Hunt.
In 2012 she was promoted to Director of Marketing and Development.

CARSON CITY — The Nevada Rural Counties Retired Senior Volunteer Program Board of Directors has appointed Susan Haas as Interim Executive Director and CEO. Haas began work with the organization in 2007 as Program Director then was promoted in 2012 to Director of Development.

Library Board of Trustees applications sought
Submitted by editor on Mon, 04/25/2011 - 5:46amThe Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Carson City Library Board of Trustees. The committee oversees all library policy and budgets.
Applicants must be willing to serve about six to eight hours a month. There is one opening for a four-year term that expires June, 2015.
The Board of Supervisors will appoint a qualified person who is a resident and registered voter of Carson City to the board for four years. Applications will be accepted through May 19.
