Pine Nuts: The Art of Whistling

I don't know why I was whistling that particular Ray Charles song, though I'm sure a psychiatrist could tell me. Be that as it may, a mother and young son were walking by when the little guy asked, "Mom, why is that man whistling?"
"Because he's happy, Honey," she answered with a smile.

The program opens with Vivaldi’s Concerto for Violin and Cello, RV 547, with Natalie Haines Backman and Nick Haines as soloists, and continues with flutist Josue Casillas performing Vivaldi’s Concerto for Flute #428, “Goldfinch.”

This exciting program features eight seasons: "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi and "The Four Seasons in Buenos Aires" by Astor Piazzolla. Both are directed by David Bugli and feature guest violin soloist Stephanie Sant'Ambrogio and narrator Rita Geil. STRAZZ youth strings will join the orchestra in Vivaldi's Autumn and Winter.

The program includes Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets featuring baroque trumpters Dwayne Hollenbach and Wm Van Meter and the Vivaldi Gloria featuring the Tahoe Symphony Chorus and vocal soloists.
