Muscle Powered weekly bicycle ride

Ride will normally consist of two loops which are 10-15 miles long each. The ride pace will vary depending on rider level, but will usually be about a 12-16 mph pace. This is a "no drop" ride so no one is left behind.
All riders must have a bicycle in safe working condition, a helmet, and closed toed shoes.

Nineteenth annual Lassen-Applegate Emigrant Trail Ride
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Sat, 05/25/2013 - 2:12pmThe High Rock Trekkers 4X4 Club will host its 19th annual Lassen-Applegate Emigrant Trail Ride, Friday, July 19 through Monday, July 22, 2013.
This trip is open to all four-wheel drive enthusiasts including owners of stock sport utility vehicles (SUV). The 200-mile historical journey will begin near Imlay, NV and follow the same wagon train route used by Peter Lassen in 1849.
SUV owners invited to follow pioneer tracks at 19th Lassen, Applegate Emigrant Trail Ride

Just imagine an SUV trek for the entire family that traces the same route used by 8,000 early pioneers in more than 1,500 covered wagons from 1849 to 1852 that brought a flood of immigrants to California, most of whom had the Gold Rush fever.
The overland emigrant trip would take five to six months crossing mountains, deserts, rivers, and some of the most hostile country in the world.
First Flume Trail Ride of the Year

The light winter snowfall has nearly melted off the lower trails, giving access to Marlette Lake and the Flume Trail. A few of us rode the Flume on Saturday, May 12th to go check it out.
