Crime Log: Carson City Sheriff's Department makes several arrests this weekend
Submitted by T. Costa on Tue, 02/21/2012 - 2:43pmCarson City Sheriff's deputies arrested several individuals for serious crimes over President's Day weekend. Among those are:
- Manuel Ricardo Pinuelas, 39, a self-employed Carson City resident, at about 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at the 4000 block of Emerson Drive. Pinuelas was arrested for a felony embezzelment and unlawful use of a credit card warrant in his name. Bail is set at $5,000.
Carson City man arrested for allegedly stealing gold Rolex watch
Submitted by admin on Wed, 01/05/2011 - 4:23pmCarson City deputies arrested Timothy James Sparacino Wednesday morning after he allegedly sold a gold Rolex watch worth $9,000 to a local coin shop that was later found to be stolen.
According to the arrest report, Sparacino sold the watch to the coin shop for $2,500 on Nov. 9. That was the same day that a watch and other items were reportedly taken from a local residence. A check of the serial numbers showed that it was the same watch that was reported stolen.
