Thin Veil Investigators, an investigative team which is based in Carson City, hosted two fundraisers for the “Do Drop In” this month. DeeDee Foremaster is the owner of this non-profit organization, first established November 17, 1998.

Halloween isn't over just because Carson City will celebrate Halloween on Friday October 30. Nope.....We Thin Veilers are hosting a Drive By Trick Or Treating event on Saturday October 31, for a Community Safe Halloween for Children and Adults.

Mother's Day Spirit Tour
At the Historic and Haunted Dake House (Antques Plus)

Thin Veil Investigators are hosting a Mother's Day Spirit Tour on May 13, 2017 from 7:00 to 10:00. $12 entrance fee.
A "Spirit Gathering" will be presented, along with a trip to the Haunted Corner Stone (if weather is permitting)

“Heeere's Johnny!” The Shining returns to the big screen today at the Galaxy Theater, so get a jump on the weekends chills and thrills with some cult classic horror. For something much more family friendly, a Halloween Party at the Library includes fun crafts and a costume contest. Author Sandie LaNae of Thin Veil Investigators is the featured presenter tonight at Washoe Lake State Park. She’ll be discussing some of her discoveries in ‘Weird, Haunted Virginia City.’ A fun night of jazz awaits at Living the Good Life with Tom Stryker’s Impromptu. Don’t miss out on making a bowl for the Empty Bowls project at the Farmers Market; or let the kids run off to the bounce house while you make a bowl yourself.

• Poker Ride and Ice Cream Social hosted by Nevada All State Trail Riders at Silver Saddle Ranch: 4901 Carson River Rd (sign in 8am; $20 per poker hand; hikers, cyclists, and horse riders will each have own trail; begin at 9am)

Motorcycle patrol riders from Nevada and California were welcomed by dignitaries Saturday for the opening of the 12th Annual Extreme Motor Officer Training Challenge in downtown Carson City.

The event brings dozens of law enforcement officers to Carson City annually to compete in team riding and obstacle courses along Carson Street. Saturday's events will include 2 man tethered riding, 4 man team relay, slow ride, an obstacle course and last man standing.

Bikes, and cars, and brews: oh my! Downtown Carson is awash in activity on Saturday. Battleborn Brews, Bikes, and Bubbly features the Extreme Motor Officer Training Challenge, vendors, a brewfest, moustache competition and more. The Karson Kruzers are hosting their annual car show at Fuji Park, but will be making their way downtown after it’s over, so there will be plenty of cool cars to admire. Mojo Green takes the stage at 7 p.m. and you can head into the Carson Cigar Company to enjoy Reno’s newest Pink Floyd Tribute Band, Scarlett Moon at 9 p.m.

• Karson Krusers’ Run Whatcha Brung Car Show at Fuji Park (registration 7am-9am; show and vendors until 6pm; parade to downtown 6pm)
• Youth Theatre Carson City Showstoppers Fundraising Yard Sale on Ophir Circle, off Richmond (8am-3pm; help send them to perform at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom)

Are you ready for the weekend, Carson City? I know that the Taste of Downtown is hard to beat, but the new Battleborn Brews, Bikes, and Bubbly has thrown its hat in the ring. Live music, vendors, competitions that test motorcycle driving skill and moustache growing ability. The brewfest and tasting is tomorrow night, but the fun will begin today at noon. Shine up your hot rod, the Karson Kruzers’ Run Whatcha Brung Show hits Fuji Park tomorrow, but you can register and show off your ride tonight in the Carson Nugget Parking Lot.

Thin Veil Investigators, a Carson City based Paranormal Investigative team (since 2005) are participating in the Battle Born "Brews, Bikes & Bubbly" event, on June 26 and 27 (Friday & Saturday) 2015 with hosting a tour and investigation at the famous St. Charles Hotel in Carson City, Nevada. TVIers will talk about the history of the building, and accompany guests on a tour/investigation of the hotel.

Battle Born 1864 ‘Brews, Bikes, and Bubbly’ and the Twelve Annual Extreme Motor Officer Training Challenge take place in scenic downtown Carson City on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 and run in conjunction with the Karson Krusers’ Run Whatcha’ Brung Show and Shine Car Show at Fuji Park.
