America, and Carson City, loves a parade!!! You, and your entire family, won’t want to miss out on the PARADE OF CARS this Saturday at 6:30pm! The KARSON KRUZERS 27th Annual Run-What-Cha-Brung parade route starts at the Carson Mall parking lot and will head north on Carson Street to just past Winnie Lane. The cars will then return south on Carson Street to the Nugget parking lot located at the corner of Robinson and Carson Street.

Rev up your engines and get your motor running for the Silver Dollar Classic at Mills Park in Carson City beginning Friday and lasting through Sunday. Around 400 vehicles will be featured at this event.

Thursday night the Carson Mall was filled with people, cars, good food and rock & roll music for the Silver Dollar Cruise Night. It was a blast. The event ran from 6 pm to 8 pm. There was no fee for spectators. If you weren’t able to make it out to Thursday night’s event, there will be two other Silver Dollar Cruise Nights before the Annual Carson City Silver Dollar Car Classic, July 22 at the Carson Mall & July 29 at the Plaza Hotel & Conference Center both from 6 pm to 8 pm. The Annual Carson City Silver Dollar Car Classic will be from July 30th through Aug. 1st.

It's a beautiful day to be in Fuji Park looking at some beautiful cars. The Karson Kruzers 26th Annual Run What Cha Brung Car event is going on right now, so get on down there. Karson Kruzers 26th Annual Run What Cha Brung Car event, June 25-27, 2010. To be held at Fuji Park. Event is open to all vehicles. Friday night 6-11 p.m. will be at Bodines Casino, for registration. Sat. All day at Fuji Park, with a car parade down Carson St. at 6:30 p.m. followed by a street dance at the west parking lot of the Carson Nugget. Music from 7-11 p.m. Sun, a poker run and awards at noon. Vendors all day at Fuji Park. Fun for the whole family, there will be clowns and a bounce house.

A Carson City motorcycle gang member faces gross misdemeanor weapons charges after bringing a concealed knife into a concert attended by more than 200 people.
Dave Ernest Herrick, 46, faces charges of possession of a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon. Bail was set at $5,000.
According to the arrest report, Gold Dust West security officers alerted Carson City deputies that there was a man with a concealed weapon attending a Saturday night concert.
