Mile High Jazz Band Presents 'Sampler for Sweethearts' tonight

Treat your Valentine to an evening of sweet and hot big-band music 

tonight from 8 to 10 p.m. 
at Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson St.
, across from the Legislature Building in Carson City.


Jazz Sampler for Sweethearts features the 19-member Mile High Jazz Band and vocalist Sheryl Adams, presenting jazzy versions of favorite love songs for Valentine's Day, and other swinging, big-band selections.

This Jazz Sampler for Sweethearts features the 19-member Mile High Jazz Band and vocalist Sheryl Adams. Three free concerts today at Carson City Legislative Plaza Capitol Amphitheater

The Jazz! Carson City 2010 music festival opens this Sunday afternoon, with three concerts at the Legislative Plaza/Capitol Amphitheater. Admission is free, and parking at the garage on Stewart and Fifth Streets also is free. Bring a picnic and blanket and enjoy the music!

The STRAZZ ensemble, directed by Sue Jesch, will get your toes tapping with an hour of jazz and fiddle tunes played by a dozen of northern Nevada's top strings students beginning at 4 p.m.
