Jazz Sampler for Sweethearts features the 19-member Mile High Jazz Band and vocalist Sheryl Adams, presenting jazzy versions of favorite love songs for Valentine's Day, and other swinging, big-band selections.

Three free concerts today at Carson City Legislative Plaza Capitol Amphitheater

Admission is free, and parking at the garage on Stewart and Fifth Streets also is free. Bring a picnic and blanket and enjoy the music!
The STRAZZ ensemble, directed by Sue Jesch, will get your toes tapping with an hour of jazz and fiddle tunes played by a dozen of northern Nevada's top strings students beginning at 4 p.m.
