The Brewery Arts Center’s Nevada Song Composer Series presents Colin Ross in the Performance Hall, Carson City, Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
From the western opera house compositions of the 1860s to the showroom nights of modern times, Nevada has enjoyed a rich history of American music and original song written in heartfelt, powerful and elegant American styles.
Song Writing Workshop

March 24, 2013 (All day) Two-hour workshop. Participants will discuss and share techniques and thoughts about song writing. Leader Chris Bayer has written songs for 40 years and has twice won Sierra Arts awards for his efforts. He performs his original material regularly in our area. Participants should plan to bring a guitar or keyboard--whatever they use when writing a song. (Some basic instrument ability is required.)
