Smith Valley Branch. The Pony Express rides to Smith Valley Library and Elementary School on May 15, from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The library branch is located at 20 Day Lane, Smith, Nevada. The pony Express event is a cooperative project between the Smith Valley Schools, the Smith Valley Branch Library, and the non-profit Friends of the Smith Valley Library. The event is designed to bring a live reenactment of Nevada history to students and community residents.

Smith Valley Library, 22 Day Lane, Smith NV, announces NEW SCHOOL YEAR HOURS effective Monday, August 11, 2014. We will be open four days a week: Tuesday 3pm– 6pm, Thursday 3pm - 6pm, Friday 9am - 5pm, and Saturday 11am – 5pm.
Visit our Used Book Corner “Second Hand Prose” in the library- all proceeds go to support the library and your donations are always welcome. Half-price Back-to-School sale beginning August 18th through September. $1 hardback books, $.50 for large .25 for small paperbacks, .10 for children’s books.
