Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 01/10/2020 - 10:21amCarson City has been recognized as the number one town in America to open small businesses, according to a survey done by Advisor Smith, which is based on the number of small businesses being opened in a city compared with their population.
According to the survey, the study focused on businesses that employ at least one paid employee, which excludes entities like financial or real estate holding companies.

Nevada jobs report shows growth in August, unemployment unchanged

Accusations of fraud, lies, and neglect pile up around bankrupt Carson City sober-living facility: Part III

However, what Lyfe Recovery turned out to be was a shell, barely meeting the minimum requirements. Unfortunately, for Joe Tummarello, the minimum for his own needs weren’t met during his time at the Carson City based sober-living facility, which allegedly contributed to his death.

Statewide, jobs increased by 4.0 percent, a gain of 55,200 new jobs added since May of last year.
