The Carson City Sheriff's Office observed three separate large bands of wild horses Sunday morning, totaling close to 100 head, just north of Arrowhead Drive in Northeast Carson City.

Woman arrested Wednesday after stabbing family member last Saturday

A Carson City woman was arrested in the 3700 block of Tuolumne Street on the charges of felony battery with a deadly weapon, felony assault with a deadly weapon, and felony burglary.

On Saturday morning, unites were dispatched to the area in regards to a stabbing that had just occurred. While on route, dispatch advised that a woman reported her brother-in-law’s wife, Stephanie Ross, attacked her with a knife. The woman said she had been stabbed in the hand and that she barricaded herself in the bedroom.

Five juveniles in custody after robbing marijuana dealer at Mills Park

Five Carson City juveniles are in custody of Carson City Juvenile Detention after they jumped a marijuana dealer and robbed him at gunpoint in Mills Park Saturday night, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said.
