I Love Carson City's Weekend Event Summary: April 22 - 23

Event Date:
April 22, 2017 (All day)

Holy moly, it’s going to be a busy weekend: busy and gorgeous out. A bowling tournament and the Comstock Shootout Soccer tournament have the hotels and motels busting at the seams. Celebrate Earth Day with Muscle Powered by making a small piece of Carson City that much cleaner; the trash meets at 8 a.m. and leaves you plenty of time to enjoy the day. Rummage and book sales, live music, a fun run and a half-marathon, comedy and so much more await you. Check out the list for all the ways to embrace the sunshine.

SATURDAY:

Holiday songs and pop favorites featured Sunday at Carson City Library karaoke

Shane Martin, left, Gardnerville, sings "Take Me Home Country Roads" by John Denver at the Carson City Library Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 during a special karaoke event.

The one-time event was created to bring families in to enjoy the library, which once again is open on Sundays.

Holiday Community Karaoke Party

Event Date:
December 6, 2015 - 3:00pm

Carson City Library will host a holiday karaoke party, Sunday, December 6 at 3:00 pm in the Library Digitorium. This first-time-ever event will feature Rolling Thunder Entertainment DJ Ted Nagel. This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
