It's Where To Wednesday! So Juicy is a new Juice and Salad Bar place in Carson City.

Heading into the midweek, Wednesday, August 14, 2019 activities abound around the capital city. There's a new group for writers that meets at the Brewery Arts Center; a salary negotiation workshop at WNC, a chautauqua and author presentations at Dangberg Historic Park. There's also the Jazz and Beyond Carson City Music Festival that will feature the Wesley Orsolic Trio during Wheeled Food Wednesday at the BAC, with jams to continue at Living the Good Life; there's also a real estate workshop for veterans, art showings, salsa dancing and more. There will be a Veterans Night on Wednesday, August 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Carson Plaza Event Center, 209 East 9th Street in Carson City.

Keller Williams, the largest real estate franchise by agent count in the world, announced today that it has expanded its network to the Carson City area with the opening of Keller Williams Group One, Inc. at the Carson Tahoe Quail Plaza in south Carson.

The market is shifting in Carson City, interest rates remain low with another cut on the horizon which is good news for buyers, while inventory is still at historic lows, meaning seller’s have an easier time selling, however, buyers are taking their time and we are starting to see longer days on market for the average listing.

The Numbers Month to Month and Year to Year
The median sales price for Carson City, NV homes for sale was $350,000 in July 2019 compared to $286,715 during July 2018 and $259,000 in July of 2017. Which is about an 26% increase in 3 years.

When you have your home up for sale, you may be told that you shouldn’t be around during the showing.

In some cases, your listing agent may not even be there for every showing. It might just be the buyers and their real estate agent. So, who will be there to make sure buyers don’t miss a thing?

The Economic Development Association of Western Nevada, together with real estate company Mark IV Capital, announced Tuesday that a new 4,300-acre master planned commercial and industrial park is planned in Fernley.

Jim passed away on June 26, 2019. Jim was a Realtor for over 50 years, and was past president for Sierra Nevada Realtor Association in 1972 and 2001. He contributed Much of his life, and success to Northern Nevada, and his Country USA.

Lieutenant Colonel James E. Wilson, retired from the United States Army. Jim was well respected and especially well liked by fellow Realtors and by many throughout Nevada.

Carson City Nevada homes have seen steady price improvement month to month as well as year to year as inventory levels remain at all-time lows.

The Numbers Month to Month and Year to Year
The median sales price for Carson City, NV homes for sale was $334,450 in June 2019 compared to $315,000 during June 2018 and $282,225 in June of 2017. Which is about an 18.5% increase in 3 years.

The number of Carson City, NV homes that sold was 60 in June 2019 vs. 89 in June 2018 and 120 that sold June of 2017. This is a 50% decrease in the number of sold homes in 3 years.

Carson City is just one area that is noticing a worldwide trend of labor shortages in restaurants, and due to that shortage, several locally-owned eateries are being forced to reduce the number of days they're open during the week, or stop serving dinner.
