Last Sunday Dog Town rescued five young puppies found abandoned in Wilson Canyon. The puppies were picked up by a resident of the Walker River - Schurz Reservation, who then contacted Dog Town to take the puppies.

The puppies are in relatively good health, although it is unknown when they were abandoned. The mixed-breed puppies will be available for adoption after they are fully vaccinated and wormed. There is also a post-adoption spay/neuter contract and refundable deposit required, since they will still be too young to fix when they become available.

Join Dog Town Rescue on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Carson City PetCo store (911 Topsy Lane) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a puppy and dog adoption event!
