Winging It: A Night of Jazz and Poetry at Comma Coffee
Submitted by editor on Mon, 05/31/2010 - 5:59pmThe Mile High Jazz Band and vocalist Sheryl Adams will be joined by award-winning poet Rita Geil and six other readers for a lively evening of big-band jazz music and poetry on Tuesday, June 8. The topic of the evening, "Winging It", will be presented at Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson Street in Carson City, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $5 general and free for age 18 and under. Dance instruction from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. is $5 additional.
