This is the final week to order pies baked fresh by talented Carson City area chefs from local restaurants in time for Thanksgiving. All proceeds benefit the Northern Nevada Dream Center Reach the Hungry program.

Join Northern Nevada Dream Center and support Carson City area families in need this holiday season as dozens of the region's best chefs from local restaurants donate their time and talent to bake fabulous Thanksgiving pies for the sixth annual Pie to the Rescue.

Northern Nevada Dream Center has teamed up with Carson High School's Culinary Arts program to help feed families. You can support the Culinary Arts team by letting them bake your Thanksgiving pies. You can order them Friday and Saturday at the Carson High School Craft Fair.

The Carson High School Craft Fair coming this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20 and 21. Hundreds of crafters from all over Nevada and Northern California will fill both gymnasiums and halls of CHS. All money raised from the craft fair is donated to the various student clubs and organizations at CHS. Come support this annual tradition. Santa will also be on hand for photos.

The Northern Nevada Dream Center is partnering with CHS Culinary Arts students for the 5th annual Pie to the Rescue.

Students from the awarding winning Carson High School Culinary Arts program will be joining some of Northern Nevada’s best chefs in baking pies to help feed those in need this holiday season.

The Northern Nevada Dream Center's toiletries bins were over half full after an hour of collecting donations in front of the Carson City area Walmarts on Saturday. Walmart shoppers and community members were eager to donate after hearing about the cause.

The Northern Nevada Dream Center is a group of volunteers with a vision to bring hope and relief to residencts in local communities. The organization aims to meet basic needs of families and individuals by providing assistance.

The Rescue Campaign was started out of a vision to bring hope and relief to residents in our local community. Our purpose is to meet basic needs and provide assistance through existing and future services such as: the Rescue Bag toiletries project, Pie to the Rescue and a local scholarship program.
