The Carson City School District will hold its next board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12 in the Sierra Room of the Community Center, 851 E. William Street beginning 7 p.m.
Barbecue Event! Silver State High School's Annual Enrollment Drive

August 13, 2016 - 11:00am Silver State Online High School in Carson City has turned school into a party! Its back to school enrollment drive on August 13th from 11AM-1PM features an atrium barbecue complete with all the fixings, drinks,and desserts. FREE drawings will be held throughout the event. Eligible winners include all families that enroll one or more new students at the event.

New Students (All grade levels including Pre-K and Kindergarten):
• Parents will need to supply a copy of the following documents to their neighborhood school:
• new student enrollment form (which can be found on our website under Enrolling Students),
• copy of the student’s birth certificate,
• immunization records, and
• residency verification (property deed, mortgage document, voter registration card, etc.)
Carson City back to school enrollment, immunizations continue this week

Beat the back to school run and bring your child in to the Carson City Health and Human Services office this week for their immunization.
Today through Aug. 15, immunizations are being held, with back to school walk-in hours from 1 to 4:30 p.m, no appointment necessary. All required school vaccines are available. After this week, Health and Human Services will offer immunizations on Thursdays only.
The agency is located at 900 East Long Street in Carson City. The number is (775) 887-2190.

August 11, 2014 (All day) The Carson City School District offers online updates for existing students an online enrollment for new students August 11-29.
Through InfoSnap, our secure and green online enrollment system, parents are able to verify all student demographic, emergency and medical information for their child prior to the start of the new school year.
Returning Students: An instructional mailer will be sent home to all existing students in August. This mailer will contain instructions on how to access online enrollment to update their student’s information.
