We are coming into Friday, Dec. 28, 2018. Pets of the Homeless is a program that provides people in need and pets in need with resources to help their pets. Funds collected go directly to pay for the veterinary, nutritional and other care of pets of homeless individuals across the country.

National nonprofit Pets of the Homeless based in Carson City receives record 2015 donations

Carson City businesses pour out oil, vinegar and love to homeless
Submitted by Brett Fisher on Sun, 01/31/2016 - 10:23amOn the surface, olive oil and balsamic vinegar have little to do with homelessness. But here in Carson City, they have become a big deal.
Last month, noted area Chef Don Pepe, owner of Carpa Nevada LLC, sold more than $1,000 worth of his fine imported Portuguese olive oil and balsamic vinegars through Downtown Coin in Carson City.
The entire proceeds, totaling $400 in profit, were then donated to “Pets of the Homeless,” a Carson City-based non-profit organization that helps provide food and veterinary care for homeless companions nationwide.
