May 1, 2014 (All day) In conjunction with National Police Week, Thursday, May 1, 2014 the 17th Annual Nevada Law Enforcement Officers Memorial ceremony takes place on the Capitol grounds in Carson City, Thursday, May 1.
The service will honor the 126 Nevada Peace Officers that have been killed in the line of duty. In 1998, the memorial was dedicated on the Capitol grounds to recognize the ultimate sacrifice these officers made in service of their communities.
