September 25, 2014 - 6:30pm September marks the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act, legislation that protected more than 9 million acres of federal land. Marge Sill, considered by some to be the "mother of Nevada wilderness" will help the Nevada State Museum celebrate the occasion from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25.
